To be useful, the information in the book must be needed and the text must be comprehensible. Does Scientific Papers and Presentations meet these criteria? Yes, it does, is my conclusion. I read most of this book while attending a conference, and I can say that many of the presenters there would certainly have benefitted from reading it. Unfortunately, this was true of many of the 'seasoned professionals' as well as of the more junior scientists for whom this book is intended. Each time, presented data were either incomprehensible or uninterpretable. I made notes and then checked to see if a thorough knowledge of the material in this book could have improved (or in some cases salvaged) the presentation.
