Description
Phoenix the Fox is a short story told completely in rhyme, similar to the beloved Dr. Suess. Phoenix, a young, female kit, is bored after being stuck in her den for days during a huge storm. When the weather finally clears, she has so much pent-up energy that she decides to go on a night quest. Despite her sister's warnings about the danger of the woods at night, Phoenix decides to go out all by herself. The forest is jam-packed with new and interesting creatures; but when a second storm hits, she learns the hard way that her sisters were right! Phoenix must find all of her courage and use all of her wits to find her way back home, along with some help from a friendly, new face.
