The Oath

P J Rivers, leader of the sinister religious organisation the Millennium Church, is the man in the dock. Seventee-year-old Rose Moody, previously indoctrinated into the Church, alleges systematic abuse at Rivers' hands. It's her word against his and his many disciples. Preosecutor Mark Mason QC can only pray for a miracle to win his case. Meanwhile, ex-junkie Joss Lane has his own pressing reasons for seeking to uncover the bizarre secrets surrounding Rivers and the Millennium Church. He finds himself in mortal danger.
