Dorian Spencer Davies is originally from Llandeilo in Carmarthenshire, but grew up in Pembrokeshire. He attended Dyfed College of Art and gained membership of the Society of Industrial Artists and Designers with distinction. He taught Art & Design before embarking on a career in London, designing over 40 books for Dorling Kindersley. Upon returning to Wales in the 1990s, Dorian started painting full time in his unique colourful and curvy watercolour style. With over 60 exhibitions under his belt, Dorian has become a well-established and collected artist. He is now a full-time artist, painting the coast and landscape of Wales, and has always been inspired by the sea, boats and harbours.
