More Hidden Gardens

"More Hidden Gardens" tells the story of the restoration of six very different gardens around the UK to their original state. Each garden has its own story to tell - from Croome Park, Laurence "Capability" Brown's first full commission, to Greenway, home to the family of Walter Raleigh and Agatha Christie, to Boveridge Park, designed in the 1920s and now a home to 30 children with extreme learning difficulties. Through archaeology and historical documents, the restorers aim to rediscover the lost beauty and hidden stories of these enchanting gardens. Specially-commissioned photographs chart the progress fo the gardeners as they uncover the original paintings and restore the gardens to their former glory.
