Technology in Ecological Building

An introduction to the technology of ecological building, in the sense of integrated planning. Based on global processes and ecological cycles, requirements are formulated for buildings in the future to protect them against environmental crises. The book presents the technology needed to integrate the supply of water, heat, cooling, electricity and natural ventilation and lighting into a building's structure and design from the start. The aim is to teach how to contribute now to the protection of natural resources by utilizing solar energy, rainwater, geothermal and other thermal systems, to name but a few.
