Description
A prince, son of a mad king, raised as weapon. A city under siege. A war against magic itself!
Prince Sorne is being raised as a weapon to wield against the mystical Wyrds. Half a continent away, his father, wracked by madness, lays siege to the Celestial City, home of the T'En, whose magical blood the mundane population have come to despise. Within the City, Imoshen, the only mystic to be raised by men, is desperately trying to hold her people together.
A generations long feud between the men of the Brotherhoods and the women of the sacred Sisterhoods is about to come to a head. Can Imogen save her people from the tide of popular opinion and the blade of a mad king? This is a war like no other, and before it is over, the field will be soaked with the blood of sorcerers.

"I live in Australia in the wilds of Tasmania. I love writing and I'm unashamedly a lover of the speculative fiction genre. Over the years I've been involved in Independent Press, run a bookshop, worked in a graphic art studio, served as a volunteer on state and national Arts Bodies, and organised national awards. In my spare time I studied Tae Kwon Do, Aikido and Iaido, the art of the Samurai sword. Now I just do yoga. I have a Masters in Arts (research). It's my ambition to one day get enough sleep."
