Description
Learn better, work smarter Our workplace - in fact, our world - exists today in a constant state of change. It's not just technology that's evolving so rapidly; it's also organizational processes, workplace relationships, and the ways we communicate and interact that are undergoing seismic shifts. Today, it's not what you know that counts. It's how you learn. Learning management and leadership skills come from naturally occurring experiences in the workplace - from challenging assignments, coaches, role models, and even hardships. However, not all people learn equally well from these experiences. How you learn and what you learn are inextricably linked, as demonstrated from years of research from the Center for Creative Leadership. If you're striving to be a better leader - to improve your ability to learn from challenges and have greater job satisfaction - then you will benefit from the Learning Tactics Inventory (LTI). This 32-item assessment will help you understand the universal four sets of learning behaviors. You'll discover how you learn best and how you can adopt new learning strategies to improve your effectiveness.
You can learn to learn - and turn experience into your most powerful tool for success. This workbook includes: * A 32-item Inventory and accompanying Scoring Sheet to assess your learning behaviors * An Interpretation Sheet to help you understand your scores * A Personal Development Plan worksheet for incorporating your results into development goals Praise for the Learning Tactics Inventory (LTI) "At last, a practical, quick, direct, and easy-to-use tool that helps individuals flex their learning muscles! I'll use the Learning Tactics Inventory (LTI) in my consulting practice right away." - Beverly Kaye, author, Love'Em or Lose 'Em "The LTI is a very practical and readily usable tool for accessing our current methods of learning and helping us expand beyond those that are 'comfortable,' so we can maximize our ability to learn from challenging experiences." - Myrna L. Bair, director, Women's Leadership Development Program, University of Delaware, Institute for Public Administration Learn more at www.pfeiffer.com/go/assessments
