For and Against!

This resource contains photocopiable debate sheets on a wide variety of thought-provoking topics, complete with background and for and against points to encourage discussion, reading and writing and develop vocabulary. Ethical topics include animal testing, banning of mobile phones in schools, gun laws, beauty pageants for children, teenage criminals, censorship and the banning of hunting. Since many of the opinions are in authentic spoken language, the terminology and spellings are in American English to reflect the natural idioms of the language.
