Dr. Elizabeth A. Crocco is currently Clinical Professor and Chief of Geriatric Psychiatry in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Miami (UM) Miller School of Medicine in Miami, Florida. She also serves as the Geriatric Psychiatry Training Director at Jackson Memorial Hospital and facilitates the primary training and supervision of all geriatric psychiatry fellows, psychiatry residents, medical students at UM and other physicians/health care professionals in the field. As the Medical Director of the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience & Aging, Dr. Crocco oversees the coordination of the UM Memory Disorder Clinic and has been active in treating and researching depression and anxiety disorders in older adults.
Dr. Zelde Espinel is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami, Florida. Dr. Espinel is currently a psycho-oncologist with an expert focus on
geriatric cancer patients at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, University of Miami School of Medicine. Her main area of clinical scholarly activity includes the management of mood and anxiety disorders. She has received numerous awards and has assumed a series of leadership roles. She actively participates in the training of medical students, residents, fellows, and psychology practicum students in the field of psycho-oncology.
