Taking Centre Stage

Keren Cohen, (PhD), is a lecturer at David Yellin College and a visiting lecturer at the Philipps University of Marburg. Her research examines questions of intermediality, intercultural exchange, gender, ritual and politics in modern and contemporary theatre, performance and film.

Vicki Ann Cremona is Professor of Theatre Studies at the School of Performing Arts of the University of Malta. Her research interests and publications focus mainly on relations between theatre and power, with particular attention to theatrical and historical events and spaces.

Peter Eversmann, Ph.D. (1982), University of Amsterdam, is emeritus associate professor of theatre studies. He has published on the theory and history of theatre architecture as well as on empirical audience and reception research. He currently remains active as researcher in Dutch theatre history.

Rikard Hoogland is an associate professor in Theatre Studies and head of Theatre and Performance Studies at Stockholm University. His main research interests focus on Swedish theatre around 1900, cultural policy and performing arts, and theatre and reality in Europe.

Smadar Mor (PhD), School of Education, Tel Aviv University, Israel. Her research focuses on Theatre for Young Audiences, as well as on theatrical communication, meaning making and reception in early childhood. Her recent work and publications involve children's theatre festivals.
