Reviews / Votes
"For the newly confident and, dare one say it, the newly reluctant reader, Walker breaks new ground with the Starters series. Printed throughout in two or three tones, including the text, these books are good to handle and look at, inside and out." The Times Educational Supplement "Six quality books by top contemporary authors make up this lively and stylish new series... Illustrated in just two colours and using several media... the stories tackle subjects with strong child appeal." Junior Education "Perfect co-ordination of text and illustration, plenty of puns and a standing ovation for the surprise ending. Not to be missed!" School Librarian"More details
