Description
Playing with Numbers provides photocopiable number activities, games and puzzles for pupils at key stage 2 of the national curriculum for England and Wales. These are designed to develop children's understanding and facility with numbers and to provide them with a good base for developing their mathematical skills. The activities are broadly arranged in three sections for age groups 7 to 9, 8 to 10 and 9 to 11. Suggestions are given for how teachers may develop activities with more able or older children. Answers and notes are for teachers are given for each activity. These notes also suggest the national curriculum level of the activity and outline the main learning objective.
