Tracey Cooper is the Director of Educational and Professional Development at Birmingham City University. Prior to this, she held the role of LLB Programme Director for seven years. Her teaching areas are Land Law, Contract Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution. She has experience in teaching and leading programmes both at home and abroad, having taught at institutions in Mauritius and Hong Kong. Tracey is also a Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution accredited mediator.
Her main research area is contract law, and she is co-author of Optimise Contract Law, Routledge, and Spotlights: Contract Law, Routledge. Prior to her transition into academia, she worked for 12 years as a Professional Tribunal Officer with the Valuation Tribunal Service.
