Genetic and Ecological Diversity

This is an examination of species diversity and the genetic diversity of species within populations of animals, with a discussion of the factors generating this diversity. The ideas developed by ecologists and population geneticists have tended to remain separate and this book aims to bring together these two vital areas. The book has grown out of the author's years of experience in teaching evolution and population genetics and should therefore be useful reading for students and their teachers in a wide range of biological science courses.
