Robert Constable (MSW, Loyola University, DSW, University of Pennsylvania) is professor emeritus of social work at Loyola University Chicago. Former editor of Social Work in Education, he is author of more than 100 publications in social work. He currently is in private practice and continues his contribution to the literature of his profession. Carol Rippey Massat (MSW, PhD, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign) is associate professor at the Jane Addams College of Social Work, University of Illinois at Chicago, where she has taught school social work practice, policy and research over the past fifteen years. She is currently editor of the School Social Work Journal, and is the author of numerous social work publications. Shirley McDonald (MSW, University of Illinois, Chicago) is vice president of the Park Forest-Chicago Heights, Illinois School Board and chair of the Calumet District of the National Association of Social Workers.
