Science Connections: Teachers Book A

"Science Connections" covers the complete science curriculum for England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Based on a clear structure, the course offers a flexible approach to science in primary schools, teaching investigative skills and including investigation in every unit. There is one teacher's book to accompany each of the three age levels. At the beginning of each Unit, they list all of the Learning Objectives referenced to the English, Scottish and Northern Irish National Curricula. The teacher's books provide all the information teachers need to plan science over the year. Clear background information clarifies the theoretical science underlying the Units, together with step-by-step instructions for teaching each activity. This gives non-specialist teachers the confidence to tackle any science Unit. The books also list everything needed to complete the Units, with items which need to be prepared or collected listed separately from everyday classroom resources.
