The Validation Process for EYPS

This book supports all candidates for Early Years Professional Status as they prepare for the Validation Process. Whichever of the four training pathways they choose, all candidates are finally assessed through the same procedures of a Gateway Review of their leadership skills, a series of written tasks reflecting on their practice and a visit to their setting by an EYP assessor.



The book examines these processes through a series of reflective activities based on case studies of previous successful candidates. It therefore helps candidates for EYP status develop their confidance and demonstrate their own good practice and skills.
