When thirteen-year-old Jasmine Smith is attacked by a ghost, she goes on a quest to find someone to get rid of the ghost. An already frantic Jasmine grows more desperate when her brother is attacked by the ghost. She just so happens to run into Michael Carter, the owner of a paranormal business. After a few run-ins with her, Michael grows fond of Jasmine, resulting in him asking her to join his business. Although she was flattered, Jasmine refused, but later she regretted her decision and decided to join them.
