Darren Heath is one of the world's top motorsports photographers; his work covering the Formula 1 World Championship has won him numerous awards, and in 2005 the British Royal Photographic Society awarded Heath their prestigious Honorary Fellowship in recognition of his contributions to the art and science of photography in his chosen field. He lives in London, England.Journalist and broadcaster Stuart Codling has worked in motorsports for over a decade, covering sports cars in the United States before joining F1 Racing, the worlds best-selling Formula 1 magazine. He has ridden pillion with World Superbike Champion Neil Hodgson, gone snowboarding with (former) FIA President Max Mosley, and been sworn at by ex-Ferrari F1 driver Eddie Irvine. He has appeared as an F1 expert on TV and radio, has hosted for Renault F1, and contributes to F1 Racing, Autosport, and Autocar. He is the author of the Motorbooks bestsellers Art of the Formula 1 Race Car and Real Racers. Born in Dumfries, Scotland, he made his Grand Prix debut in 1994 for Williams, before moving on to McLaren for nine successful seasons, finishing a career-best second in the championship in 2001. After four years driving for Red Bull Racing, Coulthard retired from F1 following the 2008 season, and now works as a commentator for the BBC's Formula 1 television coverage while also driving in the DTM. He lives in Monaco.
