Kommissar Gerhard Hoehner is back! Berlin trembles on the brink of revolution. The Kaiser has fled, and the old order is collapsing, as Berlin is torn between two factions. But away from prying eyes, sinister forces continue to work to their own agenda, ready to undermine the new Republik for their own ends. For Hoehner, it begins with a simple strike at an armaments factory, but soon he is caught up in an old murder, and new horrors.
