DAVE CLEMENTS is a policy and strategy consultant with over two decades of experience in local government, focusing on children's and adults' services. He has been on the Battle of Ideas organising committee since 2006 and co-founded the Academy of Ideas Social Policy Forum in 2008. In addition to consulting and raising three children in North London, he has written for various publications including The Guardian and The Huffington Post, and contributes to discussions on contemporary policy culture. He was contributing co-editor of The Future of Community (Pluto Press, 2008)
