Description
Be enchanted by the charming and hot-headed Anne of Green Gables. Can the little orphan girl control her strong will and stay out of trouble?
Siblings Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert decide to adopt a child to help them on the farm, but they are surprised to find a feisty young girl at the train station instead of a boy!
Although Anne is very difficult at first, they soon cannot imagine life without her. As she grows up on the farm in Avonlea, Anne becomes a very clever, but stubborn, young lady.
Follow Anne as she makes friends, goes to college, and has a few mishaps along the way!
Carefully retold in clear contemporary language, and presented with delightful illustrations, these favourite classic stories will capture the heart and imagination of young readers.
By retelling the story in a shorter, simpler form, children will find these books highly engaging, and the colour illustrations help with both comprehension and interest level.
