The Physical Environment

This text has been revised to reflect the changes to the Standard Grade arrangements. Each topic is studied through single, extended case studies which allow pupils to participate and provide in-depth development of major themes. Topics covered include the weather, mapwork, river and glacial landforms and related physical processes, climate and vegetation. The text also includes questions to test knowledge and understanding and to give practice in evaluating and investigating skills.
