Water and Wildlife
Description
Water and Wildlife is a lyrical yet fact-filled picture book that explores how animals around the world depend on water to survive, play, travel, and thrive. From wood ducks preening their feathers and whales singing through the sea, to otters holding hands, salmon swimming upstream, and elephants sensing distant rain, each spread reveals a fascinating way water supports life.
Written in playful rhyme with the whimsical art stylings of artist Ashley Anne Clark, this book introduces young readers to diverse ecosystems while building early understanding of biology, adaptation, and environmental stewardship. As children discover how deeply connected water is to every living thing, they are gently invited to care for and protect this precious resource.
Perfect for read-alouds, STEM learning, and nature-loving families, Water and Wildlife celebrates the wonder of the natural world--and reminds us that clean water matters to us all.
