Agents Scorned is a pulse-pounding 1970s spy thriller packed with betrayal, revenge, subterfuge, and edge-of-your-seat suspense.
The security of the United States is in crisis. A high-level agent is accused of treason and defects to the Soviet Union. An urgent attempt at damage control leads to Paris, where pop star turned CIA stringer Brad James is assigned to investigate the suspicious suicide of a key undercover asset. As he races to work out the truth, Brad uncovers some of D.C.'s deepest secrets-and a perverse conspiracy that puts him in the crosshairs of Washington's most powerful figures, who'll stop at nothing to keep their secrets buried.
From the back alleys of Paris through the offshore financial centers in the Channel Islands to the corridors of power in Washington, Brad James navigates a treacherous world of double agents, brutal interrogations, and deadly betrayals. At the center of it all lurks a ruthless mastermind with a chilling agenda. Outgunned and outnumbered, Brad must risk everything to expose the truth and save the country-before the deep state buries them all.
