Description
This is the third volume of this well-established series, formerly entitled Advances in Infrared and Raman Spectroscopy, to be devoted to a single theme. The major objectives of the series are to integrate theory and practice and to bring together different branches of both academic and industrial research through the presentation of critical review articles in fundamental and applied spectroscopy. The scope of the series has been widened beyond the confines of infrared and Raman spectroscopy (as, indeed, has already been the case in some earlier volumes) while at the same time each volume now focuses on to a single well-defined theme of current interest. Advances in Non-Linear Spectroscopy provides an up-to-date survey of the key developments in, and applications of, non-linear spectroscopy. The policy of the editors is to commission authoritative reviews by acknowledged leaders in the various fields of spectroscopy. Thus each volume presents a carefully composed picture of the 'state of the art' for a particular area.
