Casey Clabough, PhD, is Associate Professor of English and English Graduate Director at Lynchburg College in Virginia, where he teaches courses in Creative Writing and Creative Nonfiction. He is the editor of the James Dickey Review, which author Pat Conroy proclaims "has become a unique southern literary institution under Clabough's expert guidance". He is the author of eight books, including The Warrior's Path: Reflections Along an Ancient Route and George Garrett: A Biography, as well as Confederado: A Novel of the Americas. He has won numerous awards and fellowships, including the Bangladesh International Literary Award and the Emma Bell Miles Award in the Essay.
