Wolfspell

The second mystical installment of the Viking Magic series begins after the corrupt Sheriff has imposed harsh taxes on the village. Neither Thora's nor Oddo's families can afford to pay the new taxes, and they are afraid they will have to forfeit their land. Left behind as his parents hunt for furs, Oddo learns that his neighbor is scheming to steal his parents' farm. Meanwhile, Thora's father entrusted her to earn enough silver to help their family get through this tough time. Both Thora and Oddo decide to seek help from the Gula Thing, but in order to do so, they must fight their way through raging rivers and treacherous swamps and past wild wolves. With plenty of courage, a strong friendship, and a dash of magic, Thora and Oddo bravely stop the Sheriff from seizing their homes in this richly imaginative adventure.
