Bob Church requires no introduction, such is his reputation as an outstanding game and coarse fisherman. Bob is a keen tench angler and tench was the first species he took seriously with specimen fish in mind. Jim Gibbinson is an honorary member of The Tenchfishers Club. He has written nine fishing books, and produced articles for most of the UK's angling magazines. Keith Sanders is an honorary member of The Tenchfishers Club and has contributed to Tenchfishers Bulletin. He personal best tench is 10lb 13oz caught at Hollowell in Northants 2001. Peter Jackson has a long and distinguished fishing career stretching back over half a century. His personal best tench is 10lb 7oz. For several years Peter was chairman of The Tenchfishers Club. Dave Harman is one of the country's top anglers. In May 1991 he caught a brace of tench weighing 11lb and 11lb 8oz at Ferris Meadow, Surrey.
