Choi is a Professor of Cybersecurity and Information Systems Technology in the Department of Engineering and Computer Science of Regent University, USA, and a faculty member of the Institute for Cybersecurity. He has extensive experience in the areas of computer/network security and service management, having worked for CREATIVE Technology, COMPAQ Computers, Birlasoft, and ETRI. He has published 46 journal and 108 conference papers and 13 book chapters. He is a recipient of both The Best Paper Award of the IEEE NOMS '96 and The Outstanding Contribution Award of the TeleManagement Forum in 1998.
