Raymond Chiong is a tenured academic in the School of Computing & Design, Swinburne University of Technology (Sarawak Campus, Malaysia). He is leading the Intelligent Informatics Research Group under the Information & Security Research Lab (iSECURES Lab). He serves as an associate editor for the Interdisciplinary Journal of Information, Knowledge, and Management (IJIKM), and reviews for IEEE Transaction on Evolutionary Computation and Springer's Memetic Computing. He also serves on the IEEE Computer Society Technical Committee on Intelligent Informatics (TCII), IASTED Technical Committee on Artificial Intelligence, as well as IASTED Technical Committee on Modelling and Simulation. His main research interests include nature-inspired computing and its application to complex systems. He has numerous publications in books, international journals, and conference proceedings, and is currently involved with four edited books.
