The book covers the entire general and organ system pathology. In the first part it also covers topics like molecular biology diagnostic techniques, human genetic disorders, microbiology for the surgical pathologist, diagnostic electron microscopy, forensic pathology and cytopathology. In the second part, the book covers the specific diseases that affect each organ system. The important things are emphasized and are easily found. Histopathologic findings are supplemented with ancillary data providing, in one place, truly comprehensive coverage of each pathologic entity...This is a very good outline of pathology that will be used by residents preparing for the specialty boards. Priced at $99.00 for the paperback version the book is good value for money and should be affordable.
