Analysis and Computation

Proceedings papers presented at the ASCE Twelfth Analysis and Computation Conference comprise this volume. Conference sessions covered such topics as: emerging computing technology; computer applications in practice; optimization; base-isolated structures; hybrid and semi-active control of structures; computer-aided structural engineering; intelligent structures; and recent advances in bridge analysis and design. Topics encompass mathematical models, formulations, computation, and experimental verification of buildings, bridges and other structures. Inclusion of this material in one volume should provide an integrated view of recent developments in various phases of analysis and computation.
