Martin Cheek graduated in Graphic Design from Exeter College of Art & Design. He has worked full time as a mosaic artist since 1985 and written four previous project books on mosaics as well as contributing to numerous magazine articles. He also teaches the craft of mosaic, both in Britain and other countries around the world. He lives in Ramsgate, Kent.
