Understanding JCT Standard Building Contracts

This book is written as a helpful general guide to three popular forms of contract in the JCT series, namely: The Standard Form of Building Contract with Quantities 1980 (JCT 80), The Intermediate Form of Building Contract, 1984 (IFC84) and the Agreement for Minor Building Works 1980 (MW 80). It has been thought sensible to arrange the guide under a series of topics rather than undertake a clause-by-clause interpretation because there are dangers in looking at the clauses in isolation and taking too literal an approach.
