NIGEL CHAPMAN is a well--known author of books on new media technologies and programming languages. A graduate of Cambridge University with a PhD in Computational Science, Nigel lectured in Computer Science at University College London until he left to become a freelance writer, researcher and consultant. He also finds time to teach Web animation technologies at Edinburgh College of Art. JENNY CHAPMAN is an award--winning new media, animation and video artist, and a Lecturer in new media animation at Edinburgh College of Art. Her experimental animation work has been shown in festivals around the world. Author and co--author of several books on digital media and web animation, she has two degrees in Visual Communication and another in Philosophy and Art History.
