The aim of this book is to present a comprehensive treatise in order to study the dynamics and simulation of the power networks. After going through the complete text, the students will be able to understand fundamental dynamic behaviour and controls of power systems and to perform basic stability analysis. <strong>Abhijit Chakrabarti</strong> [PhD (Tech)] is Vice-Chairman, West Bengal State Council of Higher Education and Professor and Former Head, Department of Electrical Engineering, Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur, Howrah. He has also been Vice-Chancellor of Jadavpur University.
A Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India), he has published/presented 123 research papers in international and national journals and conferences and authored/co-authored ten books on electrical engineering. He has nearly eight years of industrial experience and around twenty years of teaching and research experience.
Professor Chakrabarti is a recipient of Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya award, and the power medal, merit and best paper awards (twice) from Central Electricity Authority, India. His areas of interest include power system and electric circuits.
