Quality Control

This is not simply a second edition, but a compliment to the original volume. It covers new ground, such as blood group serology as well as haematinic, haemoglobin, red cell enzyme and coagulation assays. Emphasis is placed upon methodology and quality control in the laboratory and how this can be implemented. Considerable advances have been made since the first edition six years ago, especially in routine blood counting where the old hegemony has passed. This volume with its additions aims to reflect these new developments, but is not exhaustive.
