Writing

This is part of the "Teacher Timesavers" series of books that include photocopiable resources to provide the primary teacher with time-saving sheets for general day-to-day use. This particular book looks at writing activities and includes ideas that cover a range of writing purposes, functional as well as creative. The book is organized by themes which are popularly used in primary schools and which relate to the National Curriculum. Throughout, the importance of the writing process is emphasized and encouragement given to drafting and self-assessment. It is organized by primary themes - transport, weather, me and my family, school, living things, water, food, health and safety.
