Collins Mapstart: No. 3

Rebranded edition of Collins Longman Mapstart 3 atlas. This structured map skills course uses a simple colourful layout to introduce young pupils to using and drawing maps and plans. Mapstart 3 extends map skills introduced in Mapstart 1 and Mapstart 2. It enables pupils aged 9-11, to form a clear understanding of the purpose, potential and limitations of maps, making it possible to form a clear appreciation of local, regional and world maps. The concept of latitude and longitude is introduced. Basic interpretation of atlas maps and how to use an atlas index are covered at this level.
