This book brings together contributions initiated through the collaboration between the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG, Brazil) and the Institute for R&D in Structures and Construction (CONSTRUCT, FEUP, Portugal). It features work from engineers and researchers in the construction sector, presenting innovative findings and practical insights across the fields of Structural Integrity, Design, and Maintenance .The chapters cover a broad range of topics, including structural integrity, fatigue, fracture, damage mechanics, structural design, advanced construction materials, civil engineering structures, BIM, artificial intelligence applied to design, safety and risk analysis, structural retrofit and maintenance, probabilistic assessment, life-cycle performance, and construction management.
