Amara, a bright and curious African American girl, is learning to be a caring and supportive big sister to her seven-year-old brother, Dainin, who has Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Raised by their mother, a hardworking aerospace engineer, the siblings live in a home where love, patience, and understanding are as vast as the stars. Their mother often uses lessons from space exploration, planets, and the universe to remind them that family love is infinite and boundless. Through these cosmic examples, Amara begins to understand Dainin's struggles, while Dainin learns to pause and think about his actions before he leaps. Together, they navigate their challenges, knowing that family is forever and no one is left behind. Amara is her brother's keeper, and Dainin is his sister's keeper. As they grow up, they embark on countless adventures, united by their bond and their mother's wisdom.
