Description
A wildfire is a massive, dangerous blaze of destruction. Its flames can scorch miles of land, burning anything in its path. Learn how the most massive fires on Earth spark, why they grow so quickly, and how they are put out, with this inventive new series!
A wildfire can ignite quickly, and its enormous, destructive power can ignite homes, burn away forests, and destroy whole towns. But every wildfire starts with a spark.
Before It Was a Wildfire starts at the peak of the blaze-the chaos and power of a fire at full strength-before stepping backward through time. Follow its journey from a small spark to a devastating fire to learn how it grows so quickly and what can be done to stop it.
Includes a HUGE, double gate-fold panoramic view of a widlfire's size and path!
