Description
Providing clear, practical ideas for action and support, this book is the ideal starting point for all induction tutors supporting Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) in their induction period. It includes practical development material, linked to the national support materials for induction, and helps tutors understand their role and responsibilities towards NQTs. The key areas of the induction tutor's work are all covered: providing effective support; making valid and fair assessments; and recognising the professional benefits for both the tutor and the NQT.
