Megan Carr entered the male-dominated world of business and advertising in the late sixties and seventies when women were actively discouraged from having business or professional careers. In 1972, Megan divorced her husband (taboo at the time) and was granted custody of their four children. Courage, life purpose and determination in the face of many challenges, carried her through. 1968, Megan and her best friend Adele Lucas, became business associates in their own particular fields of expertise. They were pioneers in 'Below-the - Line' Advertising, organising live promotions and events to support the print and radio media, many years before TV.
