Reviews / Votes
Gr 3-5-This fun series follows Bea Black, who moves with her dad to the town of Little Spellshire. Bea's dad accidentally enrolls her in a witch school, even though she is very much not a witch. In this seventh adventure, Bea and her classmates must prepare the school for some very special visitors. Despite everyone's best efforts, things go hilariously and chaotically wrong. Bea writes in journal entries throughout the day with illustrations and school updates are included throughout. This makes for a fun reading experience for older, more confident readers who will notice the realistic misspellings and handwritten sections. VERDICT Recommended where the other books in the series do well, or where witch stories are in demand.--School Library JournalMore details
