The Transition

The transition is the journey after Washington, DC’s extremely violent prison system Lorton closes down. Some of the prisoners are released to the community and the rest, mostly young black males, are shipped to the federal prison system. They are in for a rude awakening. Freedom isn’t easy with felony convictions. And the federal system isn’t Lorton. Their new home is run by the Aryan Brotherhood who would love nothing more than to slit their throats.

This is a story of betrayal, ambition, hopelessness AND a desire to succeed at all costs. They’ll give anything a chance or do what they do best if it doesn’t work...and that is kill...again
