Richard Caplan is the New York director of the London-based Institute for War and Peace Reporting. He is former editor of World Policy Journal and has written for the New York Times, The Nation, Harper's, the Los Angeles Times, and the Christian Science Monitor, among other publications. John Feffer is the author of Beyond DA (c)tente: Soviet Foreign Policy and U.S. Options (1990) and Shock Waves: Eastern Europe After the Revolutions (1992). He is a former associate editor of World Policy Journal.
