Joseph Caffiero, the author, is a former elementary school teacher. He also taught Tai Chi to students from kindergarten age to senior citizens. He has a Black Belt in Aikido and likes to dance, camp and go on nature walks. Joseph has been trained in meditation techniques and in the bodywork modalities of Trager, Zero Balancing and Wholistic Massage. He is involved in "polishing his personal crystal" by taking classes about metaphysics and participating in an on-going Study Group discussing topics on spirituality. Joseph is a new grandfather. "I meditate to access inner strength and feel more empowered when making decisions from a peaceful place within. The desire to write Adventures in Your Dream: THE DREAM, for children, was to help them cultivate their inner power and nourish it with mindful meditation, which enables them to develop an inner strength to help handle adversity, such as bullying."
